This project takes actions in creating Hong Kong as a walkable city for the elders. With a project team of doctors, architects and urban planners, elders are encouraged to go out and explore the “treasures” in the city, and to voice out their views on universal accessibility of the built environment through the program designed with lectures, architectural guided tours, place audits and workshops for the elderly. Target beneficiaries include elders, students, architects and planners as well as general public.
