Innovating Music for Everyone: Music Creation and Performance with e-Orch

With the e-Orch app, beneficiaries can compose and perform music instantly anytime and anywhere. The project team will not only further develop the e-Orch app (e.g. user interface and sound library), but will also study the teaching and learning outcomes in terms of sense of achievement, confidence, depression and social cohesion of participants.

This project aims to enhance and expand the application of “e-Orch”, a music-making application previously developed by the project team, to participants who are yet to be covered by the current pilot programs, including students in poverty, with special needs and ethnic minorities. With the e-Orch app, beneficiaries can compose and perform music instantly anytime and anywhere. The project team will not only further develop the e-Orch app (e.g. user interface and sound library), but will also study the teaching and learning outcomes in terms of sense of achievement, confidence, depression and social cohesion of participants.
