Novel Interactive and Audible 3D Chinese Characters for People with Special Needs: “An Inclusive Design and Educational Workshop”

The project produces a toolkit “Touchable, Movable & Interactive Audible 3D Chinese Character” (TMIA3D) for learning Chinese character components by people with visual impairment and non-Chinese ethnic minorities. Beneficiaries can utilise TMIA3D to learn the basic formation of Chinese characters and appreciate Chinese calligraphy during experiential workshops. This project will promote social inclusion by integrating persons with disabilities and ethnic minorities into society through Chinese language learning.
