Oganising workshops related to storybook reading to nurture children’s character

The venture aims to reduce bullying behaviours in schools and create a positive and harmonious campus by nurturing children's character and enhancing their emotional intelligence and social skills via storybook reading.

The venture has been partnering with City University of Hong Kong in an evidence-based children's story group programme based on "Social Information Processing Theory" (SIP). In the past few years, the venture has developed a pilot intervention approach “Intervention with Storytelling” that, with solid academic research evidence support, has shown effectiveness in reducing bullying acts of young school children.

To scale up the pilot scheme, the venture will reach out to more primary schools to benefit more young school children, in response to the public’s call for a positive and harmonious campus and society, while maintaining a self-sufficient delivery model.

The project will benefit 1 240 students and 200 parents through workshops for students and parents respectively and social group training for students with potential bully behaviour.
