Expressive arts therapy that enhances social skills and self-expression of children with autism and grassroots children and fosters inclusion

The venture aims to foster inclusion between children with autism and grassroots children and enhance their social skills and self-expression through expressive arts therapy.

The therapy will be divided into two phases. In phase 1, the two groups of children will attend classes separately. The classes will foster their compassionate communication, social interaction and self-expression. In phase 2, the two groups of children will attend 12 sessions of expressive arts therapy together. They could gain a better understanding of each other through the therapy; grassroots children will become helpers/ leaders to support their autism buddies in the process.
