Providing training and job opportunities in food product development and production for grassroots housewives and golden-aged women

Riding on the success of its prototype projects, (namely Festyle and Festyle – HOME-trepreneur Programme), the venture aims to strengthen the training as well as research and development (R&D) elements of its existing social business, in order to further unleash the potential of grassroots housewives and golden-aged women.

The venture will provide 160 grassroots women and 20 golden-aged women with theme-based cooking training led by professional chefs and nutritionists, etc. Twenty trainees with high potential will be selected to receive advanced training to become “R&D chefs”. They will be employed to develop new home-taste products. It is expected that 200 new food products will be developed, with 45 of which to become signature products of a micro-brand.

In addition, another 14 trainees will be hired to engage in food production and daily business operation. The venture would also help refer other trainees to its collaborating organisations for further job opportunities.
