Evaluation Study of the SIE Fund
Conducted by The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and commenced in March 2016, the Study examines the Fund's overall performance in terms of both financial and non-financial impacts, the impact of intermediaries and of projects and initiatives funded or supported by the Fund. In April 2021, the Fund commissioned HKU to conduct the “Second Evaluation Study of the SIE Fund”. Following on from the research period covered by the First Evaluation Study, the Second Evaluation Study further examines the overall performance of the Fund, the impact of intermediaries as well as projects and initiatives funded or supported by the Fund on a longitudinal basis during the period from July 2020 to December 2023. It will also come up with recommendations of improvements at all levels.
The Study examines overall performance of the SIE Fund and provides recommendations for the Fund to further strengthen its impact.
The Study examines the performance of the initiatives of the Fund in achieving its objectives. Following on from the research period covered by the First Evaluation Study, the Second Evaluation Study further examines the overall performance of the Fund, the impact of intermediaries as well as projects and initiatives funded or supported by the Fund on a longitudinal basis during the period from July 2020 to December 2023. The Study will also come up with recommendations of improvements at all levels.
