A vocational training and internship programme in pet care for youths with special educational needs
The venture offers vocational training and internship in pet care and grooming skills specifically designed to nurture personal growth and develop the professional skills of youths with special educational needs (SEN) aged 16 to 25.
The venture combines Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) and pet care vocational training in a 6-week hands-on training programme in pet care and grooming skills, as well as an 8-hour on-site internship in pet grooming shops, in order to equip SEN youths with practical knowledge and enhance their social communication and emotional skills, as well as elevate their employability.
