Enhancing the capability of teachers and parents in developing children’s positive thinking

The venture aims to cultivate mindfulness and positive thinking among kindergarten students in low-income districts to foster their psychological and emotional well-being and strengthen their ability to cope with stresses and challenges.

The venture will provide 8-week mindfulness training to teachers recruited from schools in low-income districts. The teachers will get familiarised with mindfulness practice and the curriculum to be delivered to kindergarten students. Trained teachers will then conduct thematic lessons in mindfulness exercises for the kindergarten students. Parent workshops will also be held to strengthen parents’ capability in supporting their children's learning and creating a conducive home environment. It plans to publish 2 story books to support teachers, parents and school use.
