RE-Fresh

    food, elderly, Impact Innovation Lab

Publishing a cookbook upon compilation with elders and promoting among the community to foster community engagement and social cohesion

This project partners with different elderly centres to engage elders in health-focused workshops with themes such as health and wellness, Chinese herbal medicine wellness, and planting, and select those with the best recipes to co-publish a cookbook, with an aim to promoting healthy eating habits among elders and recognising their traditional culinary wisdom. Besides, those selected elders will participate in the cookbook publication and meal showcases in which representatives from social enterprise restaurants will also participate, which can boost elders’ confidence and foster community engagement.
