"Smart Silver" Digital Inclusion Programme for Elders
Under the "Smart Silver" programme, implementing organisations continue to help elders integrate into smart living through different means, enabling them to gain a sense of fulfillment from it.

The programme regularly offers various types of digital training courses, teaching elders to master digital technology. At the same time, community-based help desks have been established across all 18 districts in Hong Kong to provide regular and location-based technical support for the elders. The programme also continues to expand its collaboration network by partnering with local organisations and professional groups to jointly promote digital inclusion for elders.

One of the implementing organisations recently held a community event to honour over 150 outstanding elders and youth volunteers for their contributions to promoting digital inclusion. Meanwhile, other implementing organisations took the opportunity of the special festivals to further promote the programme within the community, celebrating the National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival with the participants.

Furthermore, representatives of the programme continue to attend District Council meetings of different regions to promote the programme, hoping to leverage the power of the District Council to raise awareness among elders about the convenience brought by technology, thereby enhancing their quality of life and sense of happiness.

Eczema School
The social enterprise "Eczema School", announced significant results for its "21-Day Eczema Transformation Program". With funding support from the SIE Fund, this innovative project will be extended to low-income families, particularly those grassroots patients whose symptoms are aggravated by poor living environments.

The programme features an interdisciplinary team of pharmacists and nutritionists who provide patients with comprehensive therapeutic education. Through professional guidance and dietary advice, they create personalised follow-up plans to help improve patients' lifestyle habits and enhance their quality of life.

The project also organises seminars, workshops, and sharing sessions to help patients master eczema management techniques. Eligible participants may receive free consultations, personalised plans, or fee reductions. The founder aims to alleviate the financial burden on patients and reduce pressure on the public healthcare system.

Cancer Support Society Smile Again Dental Centre
Smile with teeth
Funded by the SIE Fund, the innovative project "Smile with teeth" has established an accessible dental clinic — the "Cancer Support Society Smile Again Dental Centre". It provides comprehensive and affordable dental services and oral health education for cancer patients, people with disabilities and children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The clinic's design and layout are tailored to meet the special needs of its users, including wheelchair-accessible treatment rooms, lifting equipment that can transfer patients directly onto dental chairs, and a specially designed "adaptation therapy room" for children with SEN, creating a safe and comfortable environment. The project team focuses not only on treating dental problems but also on addressing patients' psychological and overall well-being, embodying a holistic approach to care.
