    Providing training and internship opportunities in a friendly workplace café environment to high-functioning SEN youths to enhance their soft skills and confidence, thereby increasing their employment opportunities

     

    The venture aims to create a friendly, flexible and inclusive workplace café environment for high functioning youths with special educational needs (SEN), equipping them with baking expertise and essential soft skills covering business management, financial planning, marketing, social media management, sales and customer service through training. This helps strengthen their adaptability at workplace by enhancing their self-awareness and teamwork abilities. In addition to cultivating teamwork and communication skills, the project also incorporates entrepreneurship guidance and career planning, allowing youths to conduct dessert workshops for children from low-income families through internship, and interact with customers, promoting public acceptance of neurodiversity.

    • Organise a total of 10 training workshops for 30 high-functioning SEN youths from low-income families (25 hours per person)
    • Provide 32 hours of internship opportunities to 8 youths and serve 20 children from low-income families in total
