Empowering community repair rehabilitation equipment (Pilot scheme)

Providing training and support for implementation of rehabilitation equipment maintenance and minor repair services

 

 

The venture planned to train and support interested individuals in the community to provide maintenance and minor repair works of rehabilitation equipment. Complicated cases will be referred to professional technicians for handling. A standard operation manual covering the procedure, tools required and the supply of commonly used components of the rehabilitation repair service will be provided.

It is planned to set up maintenance stations at 6 community centres to provide maintenance and repair services for the elderly in the neighbourhood.
