A one-stop service helping elderly patients to take the right medicines at the right time
MedPOT's objective is to deliver "Right Medicines at the Right Time with Real-Time Monitoring". Whilst the patients will take medicines according to doctor's prescription, their carers will also be notified about the medication adherence profile.
The project comprises a comprehensive service package with the following elements:
- A portable smart pillbox with notification function which gives medication instruction and transmits medication records;
- Door-to-door medicine repackaging service;
- A mobile app with notification and tracking function.
The whole package will be offered on a monthly subscription basis, and a portion of the profits will be used in sponsoring services to low-income families.
