Utilising digital technology and multimodal learning to improve literacy proficiency and foster personal narrative skills among students who use English as a second language
The venture aims to improve literacy skills and foster personal narrative skills among students, who use English as a second language and are from low-income families through a photo autobiography initiative in combination of digital technology and multimodal learning. It will provide up-skills workshops covering photography, identity building and storytelling, and organise online exhibitions for the students to showcase their photo autobiographies, thereby fostering their self-confidence, creativity and social engagement, ultimately alleviating educational inequalities and breaking the vicious cycle of poverty and social exclusion.
