Mental Health Impact Generation Training Programme

Introducing a training programme empowering people with mental health challenges and caregivers to enhance public awareness of mental health

The venture aims to enable people with mental health challenges and caregivers to create impact in raising awareness of mental health, reduce the stigma associated with mental illness in the community, and encourage greater community engagement in discussions related to mental health.

The venture will recruit people with mental health challenges, caregivers, psychologists and other experts to co-create a 16-hour basic online training and an eight-week advanced training programme. The objective is to bolster skills and knowledge about public education campaigning and stigma reduction.

People with mental health challenges and caregivers will be recruited to attend the above-mentioned training programmes. Trainees who have received advanced training will create three public education campaigns and assist in planning and organising related activities to enhance the awareness of mental health among the general public.
