Personal Profile
Ms Li has served the labouring community for over 40 years and maintains close contact with them. She was a member of the Legislative Council (Labour Constituency) for 12 years, during which time she conveyed the views and appeals of labour to the Council and supported legislation of a varied nature related to labour rights.
Ms Li was a member of the Vocational Training Council Executive Committee and attended to the pre-employment training for young people. She was also a member of the Employees Retraining Board and was concerned about helping workers of higher age receive retraining and skill-upgrading.
