Ms Lau Oi-sze

Personal Profile

Ms Lau Oi-sze graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s degree in history and had been a reporter before she changed her field to social service. In 2009 she joined The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon and is currently its Chief Executive. With a thorough understanding of social needs, she is leading the organisation in driving innovative and practical social services, for example the Transitional Social Housing Scheme, for Hong Kong.
Ms Lau also participates actively in public services, holding various positions including Member of the Third Term of Commission on Poverty and its Caring Fund Task Force as well as SIE Fund Task Force, Member of the Lump Sum Grant Steering Committee, Member of the Sub-Committee on Promotion of Volunteering in Community Organisations, Member of the KC/YTM District Strategic Coordination Committee on Welfare Services, Co-opt Member of Working Group on Elderly Services Programme Plan of the Elderly Commission, Member of the Steering Committee of Hong Kong School Drama Festival, Organising Committee Member of the Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme of the Family Council, Member of Steering Group of the STEM Alliances of Hong Kong Institute of Construction, as well as Member of the 12th Kowloon City LCAC of CLP.
