A game-based platform for detection and monitoring of dementia and mood disorder of elderly

The venture proposes a gamified platform to enable prevention, detection and monitoring of elderly diseases such as dementia and mood disorders. Interesting games with which Hong Kong people are familiar, such as Mahjong and Chinese chess, will be used to attract the elderly’s participation. An individual personal health data profile will be created for each elderly player for continuous monitoring and early detection of diseases. Further medical consultation can be arranged promptly once there is an alert indicated by data collected.

The venture also employs machine learning to build a database with the data collected through the gamified platform for relevant government departments and medical research institutes to conduct analysis and as reference.
