Addressing Sha Tau Kok’s development lag through community building to preserve and promote the area’s unique culture

This venture aims to preserve and promote Sha Tau Kok’s unique culture through community building activities – using it as a case study to explore economic models for revitalising Hong Kong's border areas and rural villages. Through the preservation and innovation of traditional craftsmanship, it also aims to address development lag and revitalise the community by encouraging border-area youth to learn traditional crafts, pursue relevant further education, and serve as cultural ambassadors.
