Train youths of diverse race to become bilingual optometric assistants for providing early eye disease screening and optometric care services to the elderly of diverse race
The venture aims to provide vocational training and internships to Pakistani and Nepalese youths to enable them to offer early eye disease screening and optometric health services tailored to the needs of the Pakistani and Nepalese elderly. Upon completing the training, these youths will transition into roles as bilingual optometric assistants, equipped with healthcare support skills. The venture will enhance the employment competitiveness and upward mobility of youths of diverse race, and reduce language barriers for the elderly of diverse race, thereby facilitating social inclusion.
