    Sign Your Thoughts

Organising sign-based mindfulness workshops for deaf and hard-of-hearing people, their family members, and relevant stakeholders

The venture aims to bridge the gap faced by deaf and hard-of-hearing people when accessing mental health services, which is caused by a lack of sign-language interpretation resources.

The venture will provide sign-based Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy training to 15 deaf/hard-of-hearing people to train them as mindfulness advocates. The trainees will assist in the production of sign language mindfulness educational videos and conducting sign-based mindfulness workshops to raise the awareness of mental health and understanding of mindfulness of other deaf and hard-of-hearing people, their family members, and relevant stakeholders.
