Providing electric wheelchairs equipped with a toilet function for people with disabilities and the elderly
The venture will complete the design and development of a new electric wheelchair (e-wheelchair) featuring a hygienic, transfer-free toilet function, allowing people with disabilities and the elderly to independently use toilet facilities of public spaces and workplaces without requiring other people to help them up.
A total of ten fully functional e-wheelchairs with integrated toilet systems will be assembled, programmed, and deployed for use.
The venture will offer the e-wheelchairs to 190 wheelchair users for free use for a total of 570 hours.

Expected Impact
- Develop two prototype models of a new e-wheelchair with an integrated toilet function
- Complete the assembly, programming, and deployment of ten new e-wheelchairs with an integrated toilet function
- Collaborate with ten organisations serving wheelchair users to conduct product testing, promotion and service deployment
- Establish a service centre to provide users and collaborating organisations with a one-stop rental and sales service
- Provide 190 low-income users with a total of 570 hours of free access to the e-wheelchairs
