    The venture aims to train elders as cooking instructors and guides, enabling them to share their unique hometown recipes and stories with young participants in cooking classes and workshops. Besides increasing the income and confidence of the elders, it also provides opportunities for them to pass their knowledge and traditions to the next generation.

    Impact/Outcomes

    • Reached out to 20 elderly centres for the recruitment of elderly instructors and 50 schools for promotion
    • Provided a total of 32 training hours to 28 elderly instructors
    • Completed the design of 1 set of teaching materials for hometown cuisine cooking classes
    • Completed the design of 1 set of teaching materials and route for community workshops
    • Partnered with 4 schools and organised 4 free cooking classes (2 hours per session) for 80 students
