Boxing training and counselling programme for marginalised youths and youths from low-income families

The venture utilises boxing as a medium to guide marginalised youths and youths from low-income families in improving their humility and emotional management. Through engaging in boxing, the youths will be able to foster a positive outlook on life and break away from negative social circles and bad habits.

The venture will provide 8 sessions of 2-hour lessons consisting of boxing training and counselling debriefing for every participating youth. Internship opportunities as coaching assistants will also be offered to trainees with good performance. A boxing competition will be organised to provide the trainees with practical experience, helping them enhance their skills and build self-confidence in front of a public audience. Interview videos featuring the benefitting youths and a boxing diary will also be produced to showcase the impact of the project.
