The venture addresses the mobility challenges faced by visually impaired persons (VIPs) and elders by developing a tactile feedback navigation insole along with its complementary mobile application. It will engage VIPs and elders in testing and using the prototype navigation device. It is also dedicated to extending support to individuals in need by distributing the prototypes to different organisations. This initiative not only offers a cost-effective solution but also empowers the independence of the needy through achieving safe and independent mobility, reducing their dependence on expensive transportation and thereby enhancing their quality of life.
