Offering AI-powered diagnostics through accessible eye screenings to enhance low-income elders’ early detection and treatment of eye diseases, reducing health disparities
The venture aims to offer affordable and accessible Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered eye screenings using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for low-income elders. While elders with minor vision issues will be provided with eye care essentials, such as sunglasses and steam eye masks, those requiring prescriptions will be referred to a partnering eye clinic for affordable and timely follow-up treatments. The project is dedicated to reducing health disparities, enhancing quality of life, and fostering an inclusive community by improving access to essential eye care services.
