Producing a micro-drama series with the engagement of elders to explore new industries and employment opportunities for them to alleviate social isolation and self-isolation issues
The venture aims to train and offer paid job opportunities for low-income elders to engage in the process of a six-episode micro-drama (each episode not longer than three minutes) that focuses on elders coping with the ageing crisis. The micro-drama series will be uploaded to various social media platforms for online streaming, and an offline screening event will be organised and open to youths and members of the public, enabling them to connect with elders through sharing and exchange, thereby promoting intergenerational inclusion. The project is dedicated to boosting the confidence of elders in seeking re-employment and enhancing their sense of belonging to the community, and ultimately strengthening social inclusion.
