To develop an assistive device enabling the visually impaired to do running exercise on their own

The project team strives to develop and produce a wearable assistive device targeted for use by the visually impaired. Putting sensors, buzzers, vibrators and a navigation system to work in coordination, the device will guide its bearers to the pre-set direction and warn them of obstacles ahead. It allows visually impaired athletes to pursue running activities independently and safely on the running tracks.
