Providing professional training to tertiary students to offer private tutoring service to children with special educational needs

 

 

The venture proposes to develop an innovative platform that combines “private tutoring” and “rehabilitation training”. Tertiary students with experience in private tutoring will receive training by rehabilitation professionals including speech therapists, occupational therapists and social workers, etc. Tertiary students having completed the training will be matched with families with children with special educational needs (SEN). They will provide on-site private tutoring to the SEN children under the supervision and coaching of rehabilitation professionals, using tailor-made materials designed by therapists. The tutorial fee would be around 50% lower than the market price of rehabilitation services provided by related professionals.
