    Creating an inclusive environment for the physically impaired to enjoy physical activities

     

     

    The venture provides specially-modified fitness equipment and tailor-made training programmes for wheelchair users and modify gym rooms to become barrier-free fitness training venues. The ultimate goal is to create an inclusive environment for the disabled to enjoy physical activities.

    The venture has confirmed with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to start the trial services for wheelchair users in a gym room in the campus which would act as the “Model Gym Room”. Occupational therapists, physiotherapists and IPTA (International Personal Trainer Academy) or ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified coaches will be recruited to design and provide specialised fitness training.

    • Trained 7 certified personal trainers on providing fitness training to PWD
    • Organised 5 experiential workshops to raise public awareness on equality and the fitness needs of PWD
