Healthy Life – Stroke Management
Providing stroke assessment service which benefits low-income families and disadvantaged groups
The venture will launch a stroke risk assessment service by applying the new technology – Automatic Retinal Image Analysis (ARIA) which is a non-invasive assessment on the risk of stroke to be completed within 15 minutes. Consultations by nurse and referrals for further treatment will be arranged for participants with a medium or high risk. It aims to raise public awareness of stroke prevention and reduce the medical expenses related to stroke risk assessment. Low-income families will be given a free service while members of the disadvantaged groups will be hired to assist project implementation.
