Providing training in micro movie production for disadvantaged youths

The venture aims to recruit and train disadvantaged youths who are passionate about micro movie production to produce a micro movie that promotes mental health. The youth beneficiaries will attend ten workshops related to mental health, followed by specialised training on either one of three roles in movie production, i.e. video shooting, music production and project coordination, based on their individual preferences.

The trainees will then collect five stories about mental health from the community to produce the micro movie which will be broadcast in the community/ cinemas/ schools to raise public awareness of the importance of mental health. The trainees will receive an allowance according to their level of involvement. The project will also help to build a portfolio for the youth beneficiaries to enter the creative industry.
