Providing sports-related media job training and internship opportunities for youths of diverse race

 

 

 

In view of the rising opportunities in sports industry in Hong Kong and limited job opportunities for youths of diverse race, the venture aims to provide sports-related media job training and internship opportunities to youths of diverse race.

Forty youths of diverse race will receive 30-hour training covering content development and research, shooting skills, media production, digital marketing and event management, etc. Fifteen trainees will be selected to join a 6-month paid internship programme. They will work as event assistants, sports ambassadors, hosts of online platform or YouTubers, etc.

Milestones/Progress

As at August 2022:

  • Recruited 50 youths of diverse race to join the programme
  • Provided 21 training hours to 33 youths of diverse race
