Providing training and job opportunities in traditional pudding production for grassroots women

The venture will recruit master chefs of traditional puddings to train grassroots women for pudding production. It aims to empower the grassroots women, enhance their self-confidence and provide them with job opportunities through engaging them in the production and sale of traditional puddings. The traditional culture will also be conserved and sustained.

To ensure food safety, the project team will rent licenced sharing kitchens or idle kitchens of restaurants for producing the puddings which will be repackaged and sold at restaurants and cafes.

The venture has received funding support from the SIE Fund for another prototype project.
