Provision of tailor-made clothing to elderly to improve safety and self-confidence

Answering the needs of patients with stiff person syndrome or elderly suffering from arthritis, chronic diseases and long-term bedriddenness, this venture aims to design comfortable rehab clothing which is easy to put on, prevents injuries and enhances wearing experience. Besides, the rehab clothing is aesthetically designed which can boost the wearers’ self-confidence and encourage them to take part in social life and integrate into the community.

It is expected that about 200 elderly will benefit from the tailor-made clothing. Job opportunities will also be offered to low-income people and persons with disabilities in marketing the clothing on a part-time basis.
