The venture aims to enhance the healthcare knowledge of people of diverse race in Hong Kong, improve their access to medical services and foster their entry into the healthcare workforce to promote diversity and inclusion. The project equips participants with essential health management, first aid, and caregiving skills to reduce public health risks and cultivate culturally sensitive healthcare support staff.
The project will organise public seminars to educate the public on chronic and infectious diseases and home injury response. It will also provide two structured training courses on basic medical care and long-term care skills respectively, qualified students will have the opportunity to participate in practical internships.
