    healthcare, elderly, Impact Innovation Lab

Developing “ArmPlay” gaming equipment to promote exercise habits among the elderly and alleviate social isolation caused by the digital divide

The venture aims to develop “ArmPlay”, a gaming equipment with easy-to-learn controls and a set of motion-sensing games tailored to elderly from low-income families. Trial play sessions will be held to allow the elderly to experience the games in both multiplayer and single-player modes and to provide feedback for further enhancement. The venture is dedicated to promoting physical exercise habits and improving physical and hand-eye coordination, hence enhancing social interaction among the elderly.
