A stress measurement and monitoring scheme for the elderly and their caretakers

The venture proposes to launch a stress measurement and monitoring scheme for the elderly and their caretakers by using a new wearable ring-like device. The device will measure the stress index of its bearer (the participating elderly and caretaker). Based on such data, social workers will custom-design a daily schedule with different activities, such as physical exercises and interest classes, for each participant. The stress level of the participants will be measured regularly to evaluate the effectiveness of the activity schedule.

It is expected that social workers will be better equipped to conduct health check and evaluations for the elderly and their caretakers whose mental health will be improved eventually.
